GBAC Auctions Auburn–Alabama Basketball Tickets to Support Local Scholarships
Eight tickets to Thursday’s game at Legacy Arena are available through an online auction benefiting GBAC SOAR.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Auburn and Alabama meet on the basketball court in Birmingham this Thursday, October 22, and the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club is giving fans an opportunity to attend while supporting scholarships for local students.
The club is auctioning two packages of four tickets to The Feud, the Auburn–Alabama men’s basketball exhibition at Legacy Arena at the BJCC. All eight tickets are located in Auburn seating sections, and proceeds will benefit the club’s SOAR scholarship program.
Two ticket packages are available:
Upper Bowl — Four Tickets
- Section 221, Row R, Seats 1–4
- Four adjacent seats in an Auburn section
- Opening bid: $100
Lower Bowl — Four Tickets
- Section 127, Row T, Seats 1–4
- Four adjacent seats in an Auburn section
- Opening bid: $250
The game tips off Thursday, October 22, at 7 p.m.
Bidding Closes Wednesday at 5 PM
The online auction is open now through Wednesday, October 21, at 5 p.m. Central, subject to any automatic extensions triggered by last-minute bidding.
Both ticket packages are being auctioned through Givebutter, with the highest qualifying bidder for each package receiving all four tickets. Tickets will be transferred electronically following payment.
Supporting Birmingham Students Through SOAR
For 80 years, the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club has helped connect students from the Birmingham area with opportunities at Auburn University.
Through SOAR, the club continues that tradition by growing scholarship support for students from our community.
The ticket auction provides another way for Auburn alumni, fans, and friends to support those efforts while enjoying one of college basketball’s biggest rivalries.
Those interested in making an ongoing commitment can also become annual SOAR supporters. Giving opportunities include the Blue ($500 annually) and Eagle ($1,000 annually) levels, along with additional scholarship leadership opportunities.
SOAR membership also offers benefits throughout the year, including eligibility to register for Aubie Claus at the Family membership level ($100 annually) and above.
Whether you’re bidding on tickets or becoming an annual SOAR supporter, your involvement helps the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club continue investing in the next generation of Auburn students from Birmingham.
