GBAC Freshman Send Off Featured in Over the Mountain Journal

The Greater Birmingham Auburn Club’s 2026 Freshman Send Off is featured in a recent edition of Over the Mountain Journal, highlighting the annual event that brings together Birmingham-area students and families as they prepare to begin their Auburn experience.

Held in July at Corbeau at The Edge in Homewood, the Freshman Send Off gave incoming Auburn students an opportunity to meet fellow freshmen, connect with current students and alumni, and learn more about the Auburn community before heading to campus.

The event also highlighted GBAC’s ongoing commitment to supporting local students. During the Send Off, Pelham High School graduate Amina Tall was selected as the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club.
